Prerequisites
- A Wix site with a Blog app installed
- A Wix Premium plan (API access requires a paid plan)
- Owner or Admin role on the Wix site
- A LLMSight account on the Growth or Scale plan
Step 1: Find your Site ID and Account ID
Site ID
- Log in to your Wix account at wix.com.
- Open the site you want to connect.
- Go to Settings in your site dashboard.
- The Site ID is displayed under "Site ID" in the General section. It looks like
a1b2c3d4-e5f6-7890-abcd-ef1234567890.
manage.wix.com/dashboard/[SITE_ID]/.... Account ID
- Go to wix.com/my-account or click your profile icon and select "Account Settings".
- Your Account ID is shown in the account details section. It is also a UUID format string.
Step 2: Generate an API key
- Go to the Wix Developer Center at
dev.wix.com. - Navigate to API Keys in the sidebar (or go to Wix Developers → API Keys).
- Click "Generate API Key".
- Give it a name like
LLMSight. - Under permissions, enable:
- Wix Blog →
Manage Blog(this covers creating and managing posts)
- Wix Blog →
- Select the specific site you want to connect.

- Fill in:
- Site ID: The Site ID from Step 1
- Account ID: The Account ID from Step 1

Once connected, content published from LLMSight will appear as blog posts on your Wix site. You can choose to publish immediately or save as a draft.
Troubleshooting
"Connection test failed"
The most common issue is an incorrect Account ID. Make sure you are using your Account ID (from wix.com/my-account), not the Site ID in both fields. The Site ID and Account ID are different values.
"403 Forbidden"
The API key does not have Blog permissions, or it was generated for a different site. Go back to the Wix Developer Center, verify the key has "Manage Blog" permission, and that it is scoped to the correct site.
Blog app not found
Make sure the Wix Blog app is installed on your site. In the Wix Editor, go to Add Apps and search for "Wix Blog" to install it if missing.
Posts created as drafts
When publishing from LLMSight, you can choose between "draft" and "publish" status. If your posts are appearing as drafts, the publish step may have failed. Check the Content Hub for status updates.
Go to the Connectors page to set up Wix
Once connected, publish AI-generated blog posts to your Wix site with one click.
